From the European study below it could be seen that the battery e-bus alternatives are expected to have a consumption of 1,8 kWh/km.
According to other studies the figures obtained from operators of battery powered buses range from 1,5 to 3,5 kWh/km. Ultra Capacitor buses operate in the range of 1,0 to 1,5 kWh/km (Source: energize-march-14-p-69-74).
